As a long time\, professional 2-D artist and fine art educator\, David holds a plentiful amount of experience in producing and teaching various styles of 2-D media. Regardless of your amount of experience\, desired drawing style\, subject preference\, or preference of media\, this class will assist in your growth as a 2-D artist.\n\nUltimately\, this class will introduce\, focus on and incorporate art fundamentals\, more properly known as\, the Elements of Art and the Principles of design. Typically\, each lesson will focus on a specific element of art. In each lesson\, to connect class content knowledge to student drawing application\, historical and contemporary masters will be featured. In addition\, tips\, techniques\, and common strategies will be shared to strengthen students’ comfortability and confidence when drawing. Finally\, instruction will cover ways of “building up” an artwork to transcend sketches into masterpieces.
